Graphics Card Upgrade

I currently have a HP a1600n desktop. These are the specs: HP Pavilion a1600n Media Center (AMD Athlon 64 X2 2GHz, 1GB RAM, 200GB HDD) Specs. Desktops Specifications. I would like to add a graphics card...specs: XFX GeForce 8600 GT XXX Video Card - FREE Company of Heroes PC Game, 256MB DDR3, SLI Ready, PCI Express, (Dual Link) Dual DVI, HDTV, Video Card PVT84JUDD3 in Canada at TigerDirect.ca Will I need to change to upgrade the power supply? If I need to, by how much? :freak: :freak:

No you shouldn't, that's a very low power consumption card. Is that all of your budget though?

My budget for the gaming card is 100-150 and I am playing games such as Battlefield 2. So the Geforce would work on my computer without any changes right?

The BFG version of that card requires a 325W PSU. HP doesn't list the wattage of your PSU so you will need to look at it to see what it is.
