On my old rig I have a BFG NF4 Ultra motherboard which is really a Chaintech VNF4 Ultra. My question is one day my computer started beeping and it turned out to be that my ram wont run in dual channel which were the two blue slots closest to the cpu and will only run single channel in the 2nd and 4th slots from the cpu. I wanted to try a bios update but should I try cleaning the slots and contacts on the ddr slot and ram with alcohol and I cant find the newest bios online. Does anyone know is v6.0 from 2/23/2006 is the latest. Numorous google searchs came up with nothing. Ram is G.SKILL DDR400 rated at 2-3-2-5.
