Newegg.com - VisionTek 900203 Radeon HD 3850 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail
I recently ordered that card and i opened up my case to get a sense of it, and i see this giant card. The only thing i can assume is that it might be the tv tuner, which i have never used once, so i wont mind taking it out if that's the case to allow for the video card. I just want to get a second opinion
thanks :D

it should fit fine...the 3850 is a single slot design, but if your not using that pci card then take it out....

those white slot things on the back of the case
is that what is holding the pci devices in? along with the one in the rear?

Yep, unscrew that back screw and pull gently.

oic
and one last question if you dont mind
in the first picture i posted, on the top pci slot, whtere there is a black holder , above the white holders
is that probobly the best place to slide the card in?

exactly... like the 8800gt, the only dual-slot GPU in the HD3X00 series is the hd3870, but the hd3870 is quieter than the hd3850

Yeah you put it in the black slot because thats the pci express x16 slot...
Make sure you know what you're doing, its not that hard once you know.
