happy holidays guys!
being one of those people that missed out on christmas shopping, im plannin on building a fast multitasking computer for my gf so i was wondering what parts i should look for.

No gaming. Simply word processing, movies, normal activities, but needs to be instantaneous and can handle AIM, IE's, Firefoxes, word processing, movies, etc. etc. and gaming on top of all that with NO lag.

i have a case and PSU. just missing other essentials.

Uh, im confused. Are you or arent you going to be gaming. Because building a non gaming pc and a gaming pc is about 500 dollars difference.
