I got another question blue green when it says 256 mb does that mean thats how much ram is in there so it's like being a memory card?

For the monitor you can always buy it off newegg.com, I saw a 17" crt over there for $95.

I heard that the AMD 64 754 socket mobo was outdated for the 939. I know i can't get a 939 but is there a big differnce in performance vs a AMD 64 754 socket and a AMD XP socket A? Thx guys

i agree with bluengreenpc,i think he is right inchoosing pc3200
for 512mb ram...will give a boost to the system

Yeah if i can sqeeze it in ill definitally get the pc 3200. So far im looking into the AMD CP instead of the AMD 64 becuase i heard that the old 754 socket 64 motherboard are inferior to the 939 AMD 64. But i wonder if a top of the line AMD XP is better than an AMD 64 754 socket.

* Radeon 9600 pro
* the Gigabyte K8NS Pro
* Athlon 64 2800+
* Thermaltake 480W PSU (350W wouldn't be enough)
* Farcry (hey, it doesn't cost extra!)
* Corsair XMS High performance
* Mitsubishi 17" monitor ($59) - not new, but this is a good monitor
