Well ive got all eye candy on and i get no lag and see 90fps.

Set the nvidia slider all the way to quality, then put on 8xAA and 16xAF..if you're running 1440x900 you're not going to get 90+ average

i do with my 3850 256mb. everything maxed 1440x900 8xAA 16xAF
i only drop below 100fps if i get into a massive fire fight.

do you always configure games through nvidia cp?

doesnt the game have the option to do it ...it self?

ya but not all games have the option for higher levels of AA, such as 8.. COD4 only goes up to 4xAA

i highly doubt that.

run a fraps benchmark playing the game for 2 min.

here's a 30 sec clip of CoD4 on my computer.

Now, not only do I have twice the video ram that you have (512mb), but it's overclocked to 810/1098.....andI have a quad @ 3.8ghz, 4gb of ram @ 1ghz

1440x900....Everything is maxed out in-game, and the catalyst control center is set to optimal quality, with 8x AA and 16x AF forced

Notice that at no time does it ever go even close to 100fps. So if you are getting 100fps then either my setup is sorely underperforming...or you are severley mistaken (or fibbing )

make sure to set everything on max quality in the nvidia control panel..also force 8x AA and 16xaf
