Error with The Witcher game

I recently installed the witcher and have come to play after I installed all the updates needed, directX and an update for windows vista but the game crashes upon loading, well before it actually loads up. My OS is Windows Vista Home Premium. Any help with this would be appreciated, here is the error log -

im having the same exact problem with the game. I have played a few hours into the game with both the patch and without the patch and i still get that windows error. Any help would be greatly appreciated
