DEAD PIXEL! Need help fixing it!

If you tell them it's broken, there is a chance the return will get complicated. If you just do a normal return, and act normal, you'll be fine.

oh i didnt realize ur name was Deadpixel lol.

anyways, update: I returned the monitor, just said it had a dead pixel. Costco let me exchange it at no charge. The monitor had one blue pixel on the left-bottom corner, but the pencil trick worked, so it's gone now.

YAY NO DEAD PIXELS THIS TIME!!!!

feel free to close this thread anytime mods, i got what i needed.

UPDATE:

well my monitor seems good. But one thing catches my eye. The light blue pixel in the left bottom corner keeps coming back. It goes away for a while but comes back when i press on the screen.

got any suggestions?

EDIT:

i got my computer parts today, all seems good n nothing is scratched badly. Idk if i got DOAs or not but right now i have to wait until i get Windows Vista Ultimate OEM n new HDD tomorrow.

thats odd that it goes and comes back, there used to be this screen saver type thing that supposedly got rid of damaged pixels not too sure if it works though
