Best bang for the buck for replacement.

i thought the e4*00 had it too because they're both allendales

the e2180 and e4500 and e2200 are guaranteed m0's, e2160's and e2140's will be either m0 or l2 depending on manufacturing show (same with the e4400)

so which would be more worth it, i can afford it but which would be better performance for the $$$

e2200 with ddr 400 1gb

or

e6550 with ddr2 667 2gb

i'm leaning towards the e6550 because the ram is so much cheaper for 2gb but i'm not sure of the performance boost, not very well versed in ddr2. also, everyone seems to be pimping the e2200.

that being said what is a good brand for ram? it's been a good four years since i had to buy ram last, in the past i've always bought corsair or kingston but i was wondering about some of the others out there.

Newegg.com - A-DATA 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

or

Newegg.com - Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

i recently built a rig for a family member with the adata and from what i gathered was that they were stable and decent for OC but stock was slow. The Ballistix seem much better but is the boost worth the extra cash?
