I have been an AMD fan for many years and will most likely will still be one for years to come but I have acquired some parts and I think it is time for my first Intel build since I already have two AMD based systems. Im only looking for suggestions and don't want this to turn into a warzone between AMD and Intel so lets play nice. Anyways this is what I have acquired so far:
Memory: 2 Gigs Corsair XMS DDR2 800 PC2 6400
Power Supply: OCZ StealthXStream 500 Watt
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon 2900Pro 512 MB 256 Bit GDDR3
Hard Drive: Western Digital 120GB SATA
Case: Cooler Master CM Black Stacker 830
Since I have never built an intel based system I am completely in the dark. I was wondering what someone would suggest a processor/motherboard combination. I am looking to only spend 300 and must be compatible with the above mentioned parts. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
