Hello, I have posted this similar topic many times before but i just want to ask again.

I am buying tomorrow a E6650 cpu and a P5KC motherboard.

I have a 430 watt thermaltake PSU that came with my soprano case. (Yes i no, please don't flame me :D!)

I would just like to no if this will be alright to support my current pc. I have a 19" widescreen and a x1950gt gfx card, i also have a 250gig hard drive. I am also going to upgrade to 2gig of ram soon, and i currently have 1gig of ram, 2x512mb duel channeled (but if i buy a new psu then i will have to wait longer)

My friend said that my psu will be fine for what i have and the E6650 wont take up to much power. I just thought i would get a second opinion. Maybe a psu upgrade will be good for the future and not just now?

Also i have to choose between a few different types of ram. (These are the only things i can choose from since i am buying tomorrow)

Kingston RAM 2G-Kit DDR2-800 , PC2-6400 CL5 240-Pin DIMM Kit [KVR800D2N5K2/2G] - About $70 - 100 (cannot confirm)

2GB (2x 1GB Kit) Corsair Value Select PC-5300 (667MHz), 240-pin, PC2-5300 DDR2-667 Desktop Memory - $94.77

Thank you for the reply!

What about the Ram? What looks he best?

Corsair [TWIN2X2048-6400 G] 2GB (2x XMS2 1GB) PC-6400 (800MHz) DDR2 RAM, 2x240-pin DIMMs, Non ECC Unbuffered, 5-5-5-12

That is actually $107

Please reply by tomorrow (12 hours!~)

the big difference is the brand... both are the same and if you are not overclocking anytime soon, then I would go for the lower price.

I am going to oc my cpu to 3.0 (pre clock 2.33)

So the cheaper one would be better though?

Please reply quick i am about to leave!!!
