OP OP KCRMYZ Banned Messages 659 Dec 26, 2007 #2 Links of the two I'm deciding. Newegg.com - MSI NX8600GT Twin Turbo GeForce 8600GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Supported Video Card - Retail Guy at best buy said that MSI can't make a video card to save its life. then Newegg.com - EVGA 256-P2-N751-TR GeForce 8600GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Supported Video Card - Retail I was told EvGa makes the best for gaming. The better core clock/memory clock the better the card? Thankyou so much.

gurusan Golden Master Messages 6,562 Location Portland, OR Dec 26, 2007 #6 Well in that pricerange you're going to have a tough time getting an Nvidia card that will play games decently. The x1950 pro really is loads better than the 8600GT

SapperX Putting the X in Sapper Messages 720 Location Boulder Dec 26, 2007 #7 The 8600 is trash, sorry to say. Either save some money and get a quality card, or go ATI. If you do not plan on gaming, go to the 7000 series.
