Could anyone give me a very basic rundown on settings for a relatively safe overclock for a AMD 3700+ San Diego core CPU.

Ram is Corsair PC3200 and Main board is a MSI-7207PV

It idles like 41 degrees stock so I don't think i can OC like alot of people on the forums can, but anyone who thinks they might know what settings I could try for a safe OC, please tell me.

Thanks

Mine is 100% stable at 2.7ghz, idles between 32*C-34*C

Htt: 245
HT Multi: 4x
CPU Multi: 11x
CPU Voltage: 1.52v

i've had it higher and pretty stable (2.81/2.9), but I turned it down to this just to ensure reliability in the long term.

Just wanted to add that under a 100% load it gets up to 55*C at most with those settings I listed, Tcasemax is 59*C. If I turn it up more, it's stable but overheats past 59*C and becomes unstable. Since I have a new build on the way i've been playing with the settings a bit and found that I only need the voltage at 1.46v for it to be stable at 2.7ghz.

I run my 3700+ @ 2.97GHZ, but I'm thinking about dropping it to 2.8ghz or so

runs at 297x10.. voltage 1.52~ or so

Runs hot, AF64Pro heatsink.
