Need a new power supply?

I'm getting into the new 8 series nvidia cards, and I'm not sure if I'll need to purchase a new PSU as well. Right now I'm running a 7900 gt and it's just fine. The amp range on my PSU is 16a to 18a. Would that be enough to handle a, say 8800 GTS

1000w thats way overkill.
not really sure what best bang for ur buck in usa (i live in AUS) but the sumthin along the lines of the corsair hx 520

hahahaha hardly, a Corsair 550vx or Corsair 520hx is enough
