Rate my wishlist: Switching to Q6600...

It had a P5N-E before.

Anyway I still stick by what I say...x38 over 680i.

Yeah I had a 650i board listed the first time I posted, but edited it out.

Well now if I want this Q6600 system, i'll have to wait on the 8800GT 512 for an extra month or maybe even 2...Or I can just go with a Core 2 Duo or Dual-core AMD setup and have my 8800GT and start gaming!

I think i'll go with the first option. I'll piece together the backbone of the gaming rig with the quad-core setup, and continue gaming with what I have for a video card for now until I can get the 8800.

I just think i'd regret going for a dual-core cheaper setup in the long run.

Well i've turned the situation into 3 options for myself:

AMD-Dual:

This option also involves possibly skimping on the PSU to the Rosewill that's in the other two lists, possibly not.

P.S. - Funny that the first 2 options when combined still cost less than the 3rd option. When I know my exact budget i'll let you know, but for now assume its under $300 and the further under, the better. What sucks is i'm just changing jobs, and won't be starting until after the holidays, so i'm not 100% sure how much money I will be bringing in.

The Q6600 one of course , I couldn't settle for less. And i'll end up getting my 8800GT too . Needless to say i'm happy this X-mas!
