Yes, I would think that you could get that CPU to easily 3.6/3.8 with good cooling.

My CPU gets 0 or 1FPS in the CPU tests on 3d06 I must upgrade !

O and a question, first time i got 7411 on 3d06 then the second time it was around 1000 less ... why ?

I know... but, saying i have a dual core 3ghz isnt is good as saying i have a 2.4ghz Quad Core. I like my PC to sound good , and im falling behind on tech forums, you all have quad cores . So its eiterh the quad core, the ram and case, or the 512mb GTS. I do like to play my games at 1650x1080 so a better GPU would be welcome.

How much you reckon my GTS would sell for on Ebay.co.uk or on the tech forums marketplace thing ? ... Cus im thinking EVGA GTX.

It is tempting.. but i look at tomshardware charts and on non quad core games i see my CPU right near the top, is there actually any need ?

well, if you upgrade to a quad core you're not going to see a darned bit of difference in games.

If you actually want to see a jump in gaming performance then get a new 3d card
