Question on 939 board.

If I put in 3 sticks of memory instead of 4 into a 939 board what will happen? Will I lose any speed? Would it be better to have just 2 and make 1GB or the 3 and have 1.5GB.

it won't make a difference. granted if you have 2GB you'll notice a difference over 1GB but it won't conflict and not work in anyway

Running three sticks would keep it from tunning the RAM in dual channel. It would slow it down a little, but not enough that you could really tell.
