Hang then restart problem...

Hello, my friend is having a problem while playing a game. It's called ragnarok, the specs required for it are really light, however his system hangs while playing it, and then restartes often. It only happends while playing that game, not while playing CS:S or Bf:2. I think it's driver issues, but not sure how to fix it if so. Any ideas?

his specs are:
amd socket 939 x2 4200+
Biostar nf-ck804(says cpu-z)
Nividia 6800 gt

Sounds like the problem is the game's not fully supported by his pc, or it's a faulty installation/setup file. How old is game? If its really old and he's running XP or vista it's gonna have troubles.

He's running XP sp2, just like I am, and then game was designed for xp when it came out in 2002... You think I should just try a fresh install?
