Apparently there was an issue with AMD's recently posted OverDrive 2.0.13 Beta utility that prevented it from being used by anyone running the 64-bit version of Vista. We have word today from the folks at AMD of a workaround that should help all you 64-bit owners to get the utility working in the mean time:
The latest version, “2.0.13Beta†that was uploaded to the FTP yesterday does NOT work under 64-bit Vista. 32-bit Vista (or XP) is OK. 64-bit Vista requires a signed driver that is still in the works. When we have that signed driver, “2.0.13Beta†will be able to be updated. In the mean time…there is a simple workaround to get “2.0.13Beta†working under 64-bit Vista:
1.) Boot up 2.) Hit F8 key to bring up the OS menu 3.) Choose to disable driver signing and then load Vista.
