Quick question relating to a fan

You'll need someone to confirm this but it may be that each one has an opposite polarity. Ie swapping round of the positive and negative wires. If you want the fan to be an intake fan you plug it on one way, but if you want a blowing out fan you plug in the other connector which will make the fan spin in the opposite direction.

im guessing that its a bog standard 80mm fan, the two power connectors will just be two 4-pin molex conntectors, only one needs to be connected to the power supply male or female it dosnt matter :)

Sounds like one is a molex and the other plugs directly into the motherboard, use either one or the other, but not both. You can also check the fan's status if you use the mobo connector.

my 80 mm fans came with 2-1 3 pin to plug into the system fan on the mobo and a 4 pin for the PSU. only ONE needs plugged in. to get fan control it has to be plugged into the 3 pin fan spot on the mobo, but with the psu plugged in it runs 100% all the time. if your fan has a 3 pin or a 4 pin then thats prolly how it works.
