I will edit this post in a sec when ive stepped it up a bit and post some benchies :) not that they would be anything special :( lol

The 4200+ X2 was the better ocer in the 939 lineup. Don't expect much with a 3800+ since it's not one for having a gaming and ocing rep to start with.

soz its a skt 939 AMD Athlon 3800+ Venice core, i discovered its not the best overclocker in the world...my highest was 2.74Ghz  and im upgrading to a skt 939 AMD Athlon 3800+ X2 Toledo core

The 4200+ and 4600+ X2 models are the best in the line for ocing. The 3800+ X2 is more of a good work horse while not being one you can really crank up alot. For the 939 models the FX lineup of single core models are better geared.

I don't have to worry here. I run stock at 3ghz with the 6000+ X2 AM2 model. :p For the older 939 model there you won't get far trying to push it much since it wasn't meant to be an ocer. On the older AMD boards the Barton cored Atholon XP2500+ was one along with the Semprons. Go back far enough and the old Slot 1 TBirds were noticed.
