when the 9 series comes out the high end gaming cards will probably be $450+
and then the 8800gt will still be the best BFTB
$200 for a 256mb one is an amazing deal atm

most likely at higher resolutions. but even then you could SLI the gt's and it'd still be cheaper then 9 series and possibly perform better than a single card. All depends on what you want. I'll probably ebay my ultra for 400 or maybe 5 if its not too late once release date is officially confirmed then grab a 9. Just to leave future SLI options open, rather than going for 2x GT's.

With the step up program you get to keep your old card and buy a new one at the cost of the difference between the old card and new one, right ?
