Oh ic. Actually, its not abt the poor quality of the HDD, but with your usage, i think any normal HDD will end up in the coffin pretty soon.
Just let you know this. Those Edonkey, Kazaa, Bearshare, etc software that perform multiple download actually cause this error call Crosslink entries in ur HDD sectors. So, if you do it very often, despite all the defragmentation and checking for erros using Windows tools are not enough. I suggest you use NDD to do a proper maintenance of ur HDD if you use the software very often to increase download speed. *ALthough, i personally wont suggest using all these software*
Rem to Clean the free space in ur HDD using NDD. It wont do away the hdd problem, but at least, the maintenance prolong the lifespan of ur hardware.
