dell 2407-hc lcd monitor

Just got one yesterday. Everything was working ok. Turned it on today and now i have a blue/red/green checkerd patteren over the entire screen. It even flashes in some spots. I uninstall the video drivers and installed a new set but still the same thing. I played a dvd thru a dvd player and the screen was fine, but when i switched back to the pc, the pattern came back. Any possible solution?

looks like its the videocard and not the monitor. Hooked up my old monitor and it still did the same thing. Uninstalled vid card and prob went away. Anyone know whats up with my videocard? Has it gone bad?
