exactly, why change the Mb to a 680i with SLI when he can have one of the best MB's out right now with a cheaper video card setup that performs much better?

i still think you should get another 2 Gb's of ram, vista flies with it.

One more very critical peice of advise, dont do what i did. i bought my comp the day after all the sales ended, lost over 150$. half of that was MIR but still, it stung

Keep an eye on when the sales end, yes there will be other sales, but not on the same items, and you have 2-6 days gap in between sales. What you should do is buy the items that are on sale now, and maybe you will get lucky and the rest will go on sale by Jan.

no point getting the 1066mhz ram when you can get 800mhz ram and oc it. the maximus is great for it.

Those Antec 900's are very popular here. But **** the thing is basically a huge fan so id imagine a lot of people would like them.
