Nice score, thats about what my system got before overclocking. Do you know if your GTS can go any higher? You might be able to break 11.5k.

3dmark06 crashes if i try to go above 655.. but atitool has no problem up past 700 ? -.- sorry im new to this

what were your temps while running 3dmark?

My cpu temps never went above 61C when i was running at 4.1ghz. I wasnt monitoring the temps on the vid cards because they have never had any issues with temps.

4.1ghz q6600
8800GT in Sli @ 700/2000
4gb ddr2 800 @ 900mhz 4-4-3-8

All of these settings are higher than when i scored my 19634, yet somehow i only got a 17~~~ this time.

What exactly made the score lower? CPU score or GPU score?

Honestly not sure, i didnt look at the individual scores. But i just installed the 169.21 drivers and score 18570 running my stable 24/7 3.6ghz Futuremark - ORB - Result Analyzer
so i think it might be a driver issue. I'm going to reboot and do a few more tests at 3.8 and 4.0 and see if anything changes. Be back in a few with results.

edit 1) 19422 @3.8ghz and all the same settings. Starting to think the last batch of drivers were the problem. Futuremark - ORB - Result Analyzer
Going to 4.0ghz and running again.

edit 2) 4ghz run, 1.525v, exact same settings as the first 2 runs, and lost points again. 17264 Futuremark - ORB - Result Analyzer So confused.

After looking at the results of the 3.8 and 4.0 runs, i lost points across the board.

Also before anyone asks, my cpu temps never went over 62C

Today, I take back the AMD system top score. My 8800 GT finally arrived.

but i still reign supreme as of now...muahh ahh ahhha!

notice our CPU scores are almost exactly the same...

1.48v on stock cooler+stock paste, didnt try any higher cus orthos temps were getting kinda high... during 3dmark06 top temp was 62 though

everything the same, except score = 11426, e2180 @ 3.5ghz, new link = Futuremark - ORB - Result Analyzer

had to up voltage to 1.5... wont go past there... wouldnt boot at 3.6, and 3dmark crashed during 3.55... i want to break 11.5! lol

edit: LOL now it thinks i'm using an E4400

well yeah, they were both at 3GHZ. The only difference is the cache.
