CD/Driver help needed !

Hi guys i have a huge problem. My laptop is not reading certain DVD rom games ( UT 3 and Command and conquer ). I put the disk in but the drive makes a wierd clicking sound and the game doesnt load up, so i can't install it.

However the strange thing is that i can play Battlefield 2142 which i installed before the current problems. I have tryed so much like deleting the upper and lower fields in the registy etc. Anyone got any ideas ?

Btw: my laptop is a Zoostorm, you propelly never heard of it before.


PS: Games i can play include CS S, Half life 2, football manager 08 etc so its not my specs.

im not sure about UT 3 (never heard of it) but comand and conquer are old games, if your running on windows xp it is possible that it will not read them. When was UT 3 made?

Unreal tourament 3 just came out and i mean the latest command and conquer . I really dont know what to do .

your rom could be defective, or the laser could be broken, also it counld not be moving fast enough, what speed is it?
