I wouldn't be entirely sure about that.

If you could sell that 7800GTX of yours, you'll get almost enough cash (plus the money you were going to spend on that second hand 7800GTX) to get that 8800GT, and you can find cheaper ones made by Palit and Galaxy that work just fine.

yeah i didnt think that through but if he got that 7800GTX for £50 then wouldnt two 7800GTXs be better than one 8800GT or not?

from looking on ebay, 50quid is the average for 7800gtx, on ebuyer/scan/overclockers you can get a 8800gt for 180ish. So id be looking at 130quid extra for 8800gt or spending 80quid extra than the sli'ed 7800gtx's i dont know if there is 80quids more noticable performance out of a 8800gt.
