Will Dual Channel work

hey, im getting a new system pretty soon and i want to get four gigs of ram because i play very intense games that stress components. Would 4gbs of ram (4x 1024) work in dual channel mode.

Probably be more efficient if you got 2x2048 sticks, if the motherboard can support it. Most of the newer motherboards do support that method... That and it wouldn't cut the speed in half since you wouldn't be using all four slots.

yes that is what i though but i live in canada and order from tigerdirect.ca and they son't sell 2048mb chips (only 1024mb) Do you know of any other website for canada?
