Pirated Windows Copy?

All of a sudden my computer says I don't have a genuine windows copy. At the start up screen it makes me wait 4-5 seconds. Then I can either basically click "Fix Later" or "Resolve Now". I always click "Fix later"

What would happen if I clicked "Resolve Now", will it lock up Windows or something?

This is what I get when I buy a computer off of a friend of a friend.

My guess is that he gave you the computer and not the OS disk, he kept the disk, and used it again...

Ask him for the disk since you paid for the computer.
