I have 7 days left on my stepup on my 8800gts, and i can stepup to the gt for 2 dollars. The gt i heard is better, so is it a good descision to do it?

I would do it...since its the original GTS right? Is it the 320mb or 640mb? Either way the GT still outperforms it...look here-

Yes, step your GTS up to a GT, i did. You must have gotten a heck of deal to have to actually pay to step up though. I paid 305 for my gts then stepped up to a GT for 270

Even the 256mb version beats it, i would do it.
Ahhhh, I just decided to look at my step-up date for my GTS 320mb.. and it just ended today!!! >.<
Although, a corner on the pc board of the card is slightly frayed..so I may be able to send it in for warranty and maybe get a newer revision or even a 640mb (hopefully) lol.. dunno though... Darn though..didn't think I was due for a while yet =(...and I even thought about checkign stepup yesterday but I forgot >.<
