I plan on running:
-Crucial Ballistix 2GB
-GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard
-Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 Conroe 2.66GHz LGA 775 Processor

used mostly for gaming and want a PC that will last awhile

Which video card would you recommend...

Newegg.com - HIS Hightech H385F256NP Radeon HD 3850 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail

vs.

Newegg.com - EVGA 256-P3-N791-AR GeForce 8800GT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail

or would it be more wise to wait for this to be back in stock
Newegg.com - EVGA 512-P3-N801-A1 GeForce 8800GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail

also open to any other brands, suggestions for other cards...

What size monitor do you plan to run. If you plan on a 20" or bigger monitor you'll need to pick up a card with 512mb of memory.

I run a 19inch wide screen

so I using my current monitor i wouldn't notice a difference between the 8800GT 256 and the 8800GT 512?

so If I scratch the idea of a 8800gt 512, what would you buy the radeon HD 3850 or the nvidia 8800GT 256?

hah, Told ya so :p

Off topic:
Merkwürdigliebe how $$ much do you reckon you lost (or gained) on system 1?

Pretty much narrowed down to this... $804 w/ 25 mir...any more suggestions?
