Hi,

I just put together my pc and found that my psu dose not stay in full power, i disconnected all hardware including hard drive and graphicsÂ’ card with only the psu, board and cpu connected, I got the board and cpu tested and they where alright, I tested the psu and it is ok, should the psu remain powered up without the hard drive and graphicsÂ’ card.

Any help would be great,

Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe nForce2 (Socket A) Motherboard
AMD Athlon "Barton" XP3200+ 400FSB (Socket A) CPU

you wouldn't have much of a computer without a video card or hard drive... is your rig showing signs that it's lacking power? Does it restart randomly? Lock up? Lock up during game play?

If it does, then you have a problem, otherwise, your psu will not be accurate at all to the specified 3.3v, 5v or 12v etc..
That psu isn't stable at all so you will probably be low on those. Regardless, unless you're having problems like I said, I wouldn't worry about it.
