Ok, it worked... fifth time is the charm.

I guess it can't be run as a service? is there a way to run it in the background or so it doesn't show as a window on my taskbar?

Oh, also, for the record, I had to auth it as EXTREME-SAVAGE\user rather than the name I log on with, or simply 'user'. This is probably because I initially had my logon name as 'user', but then changed it after the initial install.

Right, it is still in the beta version and the install as a service part does not work. Yet...

Well, whatever works..

Well the initial question still stands... any way to hide it so it doesn't take up taskbar room in the meantime? I have it set up as a scheduled task, so we'll see how that turns out... but it can't even launch minimized.

ya SMP client told me i couldn't use it on non password protected account, and sometimes i turn my pc on and have utorrent, grabit, folding and other programs on my pc at start up and sometimes i get ****ed cuz i come back and my pc is still on logon screen, anyway i can make a password protected account and have it put my password in automatically, without typing in password? Without disabling password?

Well, it's working... but it seems I'm going to miss the first deadline by the better part of a week. It's been running over 24 hours now and is only at 12%, for a workload due by the 9th. Is this normal? or am I going to be losing a lot of PPD for this?

What client version. How many running processes?
