That build looks ace! Only thing is I might spend a little more on the cooler. The AF7 Pro is quite a good budget cooler but not ideal for a quad setup.

Good, but get

RAM: Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz Dual Channel Kit (BL2KIT12864AA804)

PSU: PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610 EPS12V 610W Power Supply (cheaper, more power, arguably better quality)

Hard Disk: Samsung SpinPoint T 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD501LJ) (or the seagate 7200.11)

Also all of the 8800GT cards are out of stock and I dont think that any are coming for a while. This will make a fine replacement PowerColor HD 3870 512MB GDDR4 256bit Dual DVI PCI-E Graphics Card - Ebuyer for much cheaper than the GT.

Personally, I would go with XP over the bloated mess that is Vista.

i think he would have listed a 500gb if he needed that much space
but ya get a tuniq tower 120 for a cpu cooler, not sure if it fits in that case though you might have to do some research
the 520hx is a great psu, will handle all your components nicely, and is modular
and that is that is a spendy monitor you got there, it is high quality but there are cheaper alternatives that are almost as good, such as acer, chemei, and hanns-g

I went with that LG because its HD, because in the near future im sure of buying a PS3 too so it would be good for that, and also i watch alot of movies, and documentaries like planet earth so HD kills for that...im unsure about changing the 8800GT tho, its a killer maybe il just wait for it. Vaanish, ive been debating really to get vista or xp, i know vista are still releasing patches and shiz on all the mess they have made but then again, it is beautiful, ive used it at my sisters house and i do like it u know? hmm keep the comments coming, this is a great help guys thanks alot!

if you want full-HD, i'm sorry but 22'' doesn't cut it you need a 24''
the full-HD 22'' aren't really full-HD

hmm are you sure? Im not going to be too worries if its not FULL 1080PI...even 720 looks pretty decent like...This is my first time building a system and Im not that amazing at knowing all the technical stuff but my mate has helped me a good bit. Any monitors in specific you would recommend?

you'd be better off getting the 3870's if you want crossfire. the 3850's arn't shabby by any means, but the 3870s are a lot better.
