This probably isnt the smartest thing to do but i was going to buy a powersupply and case and then over the next few months slowly buy the parts. Im going to aim for this:

(The choices i made are made because there are no big onlines stores for Australia like newegg where i can get everything, my choices are limited)

CASE: COOLER MASTER Mystique RC-632S-KKN1-GP Black Aluminum
PSU: CORSAIR CMPSU-520HX ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 520W
MOBO: Gigabyte P5K-SE
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz
RAM: OCZ DDR2 PC2-8500 / 1066MHz / NVIDIA SLI-Ready Edition / Dual Channel
VCARD: MSI 512MB 8800GT PCI-E (The new 8800GTS doesnt interest me.)
HDD: Seagate SATA 160GB

I havent checked if there all compatible yet but i skimmed over it and it all seems to fit. So, remembering my options are limited, what do you think?

A few places, 2 physical locations in Syndey are:

MSY - msy.com.au
CCPU - ccpu.com.au

They have pretty good prices...
And thanks for the crits, i should be able to find better RAM pretty easily now.

Okay i changed my RAM...

Also, you might not be happy with the p5k, try to see if you can find an ABIT ip35 or gigabyte p35 board. I didnt care for my p5k.

they're usually quite cheaper than the p5k
also see if you can find the Tuniq Tower 120
it will enable you to overclock quite a bit more

eh HZ's are spendy tho they are high quality
crucial ballistix and pat extremes CL4 work fine both usually <$50 after MIR

also there is 0-zero reason to buy ddr2 1066 if you plan to overclock, and you buy some decent ddr2 800. HZ sucks we all know that now lol lol lol .
jk actually mine do suck but meh live and learn. buy some good ram gskill, corsair, crucial, patriot...they will all serve you well.
