i use avast, norton SUCKS my freind couldnt even delete a virus with norton it said undeletable or some crap like that

it may have accidently deleted some vital registry files, that happened to my comp and i had to reformat, not a biggie tho

maybe they are puttin one in the 64 bit OS comin out whenever it does... that would be tight as hell if they did tho!!

AMD and Microsoft are working on adding hardware virus protection to processors. They can protect against a certain type of virus i think its called buffer overrun. Pimp:beard:

I think they're making processors and software that work together together to stop the system from processing malicious code

I use Antivir Personal Edition, in my opinion it is WAY better than Norton

1. Norton was slowing the comp down
2. Antivir detects a lot more viruses
3. Antivir is free
4. Antivir uses barely any resources (even on my slow-ass 500MHZ P3)
