Looks pretty legit, I'm glad I waited to grab this instead of a GT.

I am glad for you, it will be a great card......but I am not regretting my 8800GT purchase like many did when they just bought 8800GTS 640MB right before the 8800GT release.

Also, I bought an eVGA so if I feel the need to step up I always can.

Yay! now a question: if I try to eVGA step up, do they give priority to new sales. i.e. will I be able to step up given the inevitable stock rush? Do I send it in now if I want to step up?

They do on the final page for crysis. It is basically on par with a GTX (a few frames either side for different settings) and only a few frames less than an Ultra.

They say it will be $299 - $349 USD. Im guessing it will probably be around $500AU, between the GT and GTX.

Do you really think its worth getting 2 of these instead of 2 gt's, it only gets a few more frame rates but would cost 200$AU more, i think.

It beats GTX in Crysis by 0.6 FPS But don't forget the fact that GTX was oveclocked as well. So this mean that GTS 512MB is better in crysis

And it produce less heat than 8800GT 512MB. And noise level of this video card is similar to HD3870
