I think Sora was being sarcastic. Definitely stick with the 8600's.

2 8600gts would play with an 7900gs... and an 8800gt beats it as far as i know...

ur kidding... if it did.. the 8600gt in SLi would score in the 13 to 14k.. it scores around 10k which is 7900gs range...

Where does it say that? I personally have the ultra and the 2 8600's and I get more fps in CoD4 and Crysis with the 2 8600's. Do you have personal experience with the 8600's and 7900?

yes i had.. back in my x2 3600+ system it had a 7900gs and an 8600gt because i had one.. but moved on to x1950xt... but ask anybody else here.. theres no way that the 8600gt's in SLi beat the 8800ultra..

It's from personal experience. Where are the benchmarks saying an 8800gt is better than 8600 in sli?
