Acer 24 inch Monitor or Samsung 226BW

I've always been able to tell the difference between dvi and vga, but then again i'm also one of the freaks who can hear a ctr monitor when its turned on.

I guess I calibrated my LCD correctly when I used VGA. So now my DVI isn't that much different.

Not that i know of, but i was mostly referring to the ability to hear the CRT. I'm one of the few wierdos who can actually hear into that range.

i hate that high pitch sound that comes from electronics. I dont hear **** with my CRT.. but i think the base unit is putting it out.


Back on topic: Samsung 24" without doubt. But i could be biased
Acer might have a deal and a nice screen.. but we all know who runs the show.
Think resell value too...

Its worth the extra money to buy a monitor from a local merchant just to be able to check it for dead pixels and/or return it if it does.

Well NosBoost, you gotta hook me up with one of those 24in. acers. You said you have inside connections, couldn't one "fall over" and magically disappear.
