The Drool Thread!!

So I just got my Q6600, shoved it in and now, well let me put it this way.

I already clocked it to 3 Ghz, So
using SMP Folding for comparison.

Q6600 @ 3 Ghz completes a percentage step every 9 minutes and 28 seconds. (CPU I have Now)

E6600 @ 3 Ghz completes a percentage step every 14 minutes and 33 seconds. (CPU I had)
(These times are just for my setup)

So drool drool drool etc.

Course I don't plan to stop at 3 Ghz, I will allow the thermal paste to burn in for the next 2 or 3 days at this speed. Then I will go further...

HEY!!!!!! I just checked my stats and your my closest threat now!!!! I demand you remove the cpu of 4 cores from your system immediately.

my opty 165 at 3.0 ghz takes 15 min for a percentage step. not bad.

3ghz is just not happening on my x2 3800. I have tried 1.49v even.....

nice, congrats and get some more clocking done!

btw I get about 2100-2300ppd with my e6600 depending on the WU...should almost be double that with a quad @ 3.6
