my bad, i had a brain fart, i meant no use for hdmi. Yes i use DVI.

okay.. lol just making sure... and yes, i set my color profile to "cool" or something like that.. cuz regular was incredibly bright

I switched over to DVI last week and it only changed alittle.

really? i noticed a huge difference from DVI to VGA... like on certain pages it was hard to see gray.. cuz it would fade out to white... ltos of lighter shades would just look white... and blacks werent as dark either

I would imagine thats a problem with your monitor. you shouldn't see a difference between DVI and VGA.

i've noticed a big difference on 3 lcd monitors now between dvi and vga

being a 22 inch westinghouse, a 24 inch gateway, and a 24 inch acer.. surely all of these can't be faulty.... maybe my eye can jsut see a bit more
