1t and 2t

How big of a performance loss would it be to take my ram to 2t? (as it allows for higher cpu overclocking)

With 1t I can get my cpu to 2.66Ghz without having to underclock my ram to slower frequencies (350MHz), but with 2t I can jack it up to 2.8 and have my ram running at 450Mhz.

My ds3r board let me run my memory at 4-4-4-12 1t, but my 680i board wouldnt boot unless i switched it to 2t I honestly havent noticed any difference though. Can't wait until my tracers come in. Ordered 3 sets at 49.99 each no rebate

2 for the gaming rig, and 1 set for the media rig. I'm gonna overclock the crap out of that e2180.

Yea...my last rig had 1t ram and this one 2t and I have noticed no difference. I would almost argue that you will get more performance out of 2t because you can get higher clocks.
