Before I reformatted everything ran fast, now after I installed the same programs, same bios options (factory defaults, no OC) when it gets to the screen veryifing DMI pool data it takes anywhere from 7 to 10 seconds and before it took 1 or 2 seconds max. I don't think the OS matters or anything but I am using Vista Ultimate like before and my harddrive is filled up the same way as before. There are no Bios updates for my mobo yet. Any suggestions?

Did you try setting the HDD with Vista to boot first, instead of the CD/DVD-ROM? Sometimes when I have a disc in the drive it will take forever to start loading Windows until I changed that.

If you didn't change any BIOS settings you might wanna go back and double check it again. My BIOS was set to boot from HDD first when I first got it. But after a BIOS reset, it defaults to the CD-ROM drive(s).
