apparently timings are better for amd cpu's so HK's might be good choice.

Well Guru, MY viewpoint is, I don't personally like intel, I'd rather support AMD , by buying their products my fundage can show them that they still have customers. They can make siccckkkk chips and get people to by them. I also like installing there cpu better, The LGA 775 that I installed , I thought I was going to break the proc. in half and the mobo in half as well! Thats my opinion and viewpoint...

they still have plenty of customers. Just not too many in the enthusiast area because they are really outperformed by Intel.

If you are into overclocking and looking at your budget then I highly recommend going C2D. Much faster clock vs clock, and overclocks much better.

yeah if you go amd then I would get an AM2+ board...even though they are expensive.

Because then at least you'll be able to take better advantage of future AMD processors compared to normal am2....

Not just bang for buck, IMO. From what I've read, it's done best so far in terms of overclocking.
