Hey my friend wants to spend $800 or a bit more on a Good Gaming Computer. Dont include a case we have a spare Antec 900 laying around We also dont need a moniter or mourse keyboard etc. Although do include a copy of XP

you can cut costs on the ram and lower it to some A-data DDR2-800 ram becuase Ballistix isn't needed...it's just recommended highly.

that ran me 500 shipped. so you can either change the mobo and video card for an nvidia setup, or you can keep it crossfired. you can then just add any dvd/cd player/burner and any hdd and you will be well below 800

also i plan on ocing the cpu, but if he isn't so keen on ocing then don't get the upgraded hsf and put some extra money into a better cpu.

also this isn't the mega knock 'em out killer gaming build, but it won't put a hole in your wallet and its a solid build imo.
