Yeah my next buy will be a 80" DLP or LCD tv (1080P), i know a guy who can get it to me for cheap, just waiting for it to come down a little more then its mine!

73" mitsubishi will be my next purchase. Its so hot. Or a samsung led projection if they can get a comperable size by the time i buy.

Who ever said you need a 60 inch TV to see the diff in 720p and 1080p they are wrong. I have a 52 inch Philips 1080p LCD and I can see a huge diff between 720p and 1080p. Both look very nice, but 1080p looks amazing. i play most my 360 games in 720p and they look pretty dang good. I believe that 1080p has 1.1 times more pixels than 720p.

i said 1080i and 1080p, not 720p and 1080p. should look before you leap bud ;)

again, i can tell a differ even from 1080i n 1080p, it's not that hard. One is sharper then the other.

question, do HDTVs get software updates? I saw a Samsung at Circuit City that had that kind of option n it thought it was wierd.

not that i know of...i've seen some tv's with hardrives built into them, but other then that how would you get the software into the tv?
