no this is my first build, other comps in house are 2 laptops, and a 5 year old iMac.....
my only friend who's into computer gaming is on vacation.....and he only has like a 400watt or less
so you mean that for sure its my psu?

not for sure, i am not there to see any other variables though, unfortunately.
it sure sounds like it to me, but i not positive.
it could be your mobo too,
dang it could be a lot of things. these are just the most common, though.
krazyq has a good idea if you have some spare cash just go buy another psu at like best buy or something and use it.
test it out first and see if it powers your rig, lol.
if it does rma your current psu.
if it doesnt power up still, you will have to rma the mobo.
