k i probed the psu (measured voltage) and no output at all when turned on...
is the power led come from motherboard battery?

not an issue dude if your PSU measures no output, thats likely the problem.

dont you have another psu laying around?
try that one out.

no this is my first build, other comps in house are 2 laptops, and a 5 year old iMac.....
my only friend who's into computer gaming is on vacation.....and he only has like a 400watt or less
so you mean that for sure its my psu?

well if that test failed then it prolly is.
why dont you goto a pc store and buy a psu, then try it out...you can always end up returning it when your rma comes back it.
Thats what i did a while ago.
