Neither, get an 8800GT. The gts is just a gimick they are using to get rid of the old stock.

the 3870 in cross fire wil ldo very well, the 2900xt had an average of 60% increase in most games, if you want teh cheapest with the best performence get teh 8800gt, if yo uwant better performence and are willing to spend a lil extra get crossfire 3870.

hmm do we have any bench marks, because i kno cross fire does better then sli, id say there probably about even in multy gpu, i love the 8800gt tho but there arent any future proof mobo's out to support sli. costs this much to sli 8800gt $559.96 and this much to cross fire 3870, 479.98 if we can get some bench marks here we can see whats a better price/performence ratio.

im guessign the 3870 cross fire will do better in 3d mark 06 tho as the 2900xt crossfire outdoes sli ultra's and the 3870 outperforms the 2900xt so far, so im thinking for 3dmark itl be the 3870 crossfire, and in gaming itl be a tie between the 8800gt and the 3870.

Actually according to most benchmarks, SLI scales better than Crossfire. My SLI setup only cost me 470 including 2 day shipping

im an nvidia fan man sereously, but its commonly known that the new cross fire, with the bridge scales better then sli. old cross fire was ****.
